In a nutshell, lower trading fee (£5.99 -> £3.99 for UK funds/shares and US shares), higher platform fee (£9.99 -> £11.99 per month, Investor plan). This will make it more expensive for those who trade infrequently, but might be attractive to heavier traders.

Seems to be encouraging trading / portfolio churn over hold. I think its probably still best value for how I use the account, but I will have to do another check on that.

I transferred to iWeb last week. 10 years until to retirement, my holdings with ii would cost me £1400 over that time.
Zilch with iWeb.
