Garmin update Honda Jazz
When I bought my Honda Jazz 5 years ago I always update the maps via a memory stick and then plugged that into the car. I can't update to the stick any longer on my home PC as I get errors every time. I have had extensive conversations with Garmin abouth this and they have been helpful to be honest but were unable to find any reason my PC system was not updating the maps. They said I would have to query it with Vertu Honda. Vertu want £45.00 to update at the service centre. Any way of avoiding this charge? Maybe I should try a disc rather that a memory stick as I've tried everything else? The update isn't covered in the service agreement I purchased when I bought the car. Thanks in advance for any tips.

Hi. The update fails to complete at 1hr or hangs on ' preparing map update -reading memory card' and sticks at that stage.
