Octopus: Intermittent gas billing problem
I've been looking over my niece's utility bills for her. She's on a 2021 2-year fix with Octopus.
The electricity is fine - it bills every month.
The gas is a little strange - she went 9 months without a bill, then a couple of bills, then another gap.
She's on smart meters.
Has anyone else seen anything like this? It seems very strange.

Maybe Octopus are not getting gas readings from the smart meter, not unusual
I'm with Octopus on dumb meters and will give them both readings tomorrow as usual on the 1st of every month
I will have both bills by the end of the day
Perhaps you should give them monthly readings as in my opinion smart meters are not all they are cracked up to be2
