Group Nexus Parking Fine while shopping in ALDI

I shop in ALDI on a weekly basis and park in their car park which is managed by Group Nexus.
ALDI help shoppers by allowing customers 60 minutes of free parking and issue free parking tickets which have to be validated by a machine presumably owned by said Group Nexus.
I have received a parking charge with a fine of £60 if paid within 14 days with a photograph of my car entering and leaving the car park. I am familiar with the validation machines and confirm that I definitely did validate the ticket. The problem is proving it! I have an ALDI transaction showing on my bank statement for that date. I am loathe to pay any parking charge for my weekly shopping and would like to defend this if possible. Advice please.

When you read the NEWBIE sticky did you see the bit about Plan A, it being a complaint to the supermarket, in this case Aldi, because their equipment failed; unless, of course, they want to lose you, all your friends and family as customers of Aldi!1

Can you advise which Aldi store this relates to please?1

ALDI washed their hands of it as the site is run by Group Nexus so it is their equipment not ALDI's
The ALDI store is at Crown Wharf Retail Park Walsall WS2.0 -
Aldi's normal car park operator is ParkingEye, so I rather suspect that GroupNexus has been contracted by a Managing Agent (MA) who oversees a car park that services numerous other outlets in addition to Aldi. You could start by writing to Aldi HQ (they have a specific parking department) to ask them to intervene, but if you get an expected knock-back, your next port of call is the MA. Look for their details on the 'welcome' board at the retail park entrance.
Get responses before the 28-day appeal window expires; if you can't get an answer or satisfactory outcome, you should appeal to GroupNexus using the blue text initial appeal template in the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, first post. Don't miss that appeal expiry deadline! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Many thanks Umkomaas. Could you send me a link to said template?0

I must be thick as I cannot see any 'stickies'.
Do you have another link you can send me?

But people here get Crown Wharf PCNs cancelled all the time by the Managing Agents if you ask politely.
Loads of Crown Wharf threads over the years and the entrance welcome sign on site as you drive in tells you which managing agents run it now.
Just search the forum for Crown Wharf parking and change BEST MATCH to NEWEST.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
