Yes but they don't produce it, and neither the BPA nor IPC care either way.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for listing it. I have signed it but it really needs a big push to get anywhere. I do think this is a crucial part of stopping some of the worst practices of rogue companies.

Call me a cynic ( guilty ) but I think the non posting or late posting of documents is all part of the deliberate ratcheting up of pressure on victims, many of them vulnerable
Thanks for signing (I created the petition). It definitely needs a big push; the best way I can think of, for now, would be for anyone who's seen it to share it wherever makes sense, e.g. Facebook, X, etc. I've done it amongst my friend but, obviously, a lot of people probably don't realise the need for it until the time comes when they're having demands for money arrive based on letters they've never seen before!

As far as "cynic" goes, I wouldn't call you a cynic for believing that stuff - I feel the same way.

Isn't a certificate of postage is different from confirmation of delivery? What's cared about here is delivery; as a recipient of a letter demanding money and saying that I haven't responded to earlier letters, I want the sender to provide tracking information that shows the letter has been delivered, not that it's been sent.

Something can still be sent Tracked though, where the postie signs that it has been delivered?

But yes - proof of posting is still way better than the current situation; the above would just add cost.

I think that is the central point. IF PPCs had to provide proof of posting, most (if not all) of these missing letters would magically start arriving on time !

Which is why they do not want to do it
