I am glad I waited! Anyone else?
I'm encouraging everyone with a parking court claim or CCJ case to respond:This inquiry is currently accepting evidence

When I responded to the Call for evidence consultation I raised the long-standing problem with pcns/letters sent by PPCs which motorists do not receive, how this affects their well being/finances and the complete inaction by industry's PPCs and ATAs to investigate and address the problem.
I noticed an online petition on this very issue has been started if anyone wishes to support and sign it as I did.

Require communications from Private Parking companies to be traceable/trackable
I know some people think petitions are a waste of time. I just see them as another avenue to communicate with gov/MPs, an opportunity to raise or keep raising an issue you feel needs addressed.

I mentioned this as well in the initial public consultation; "that PPCs must retain proof of posting and provide it during the appeals and/or court process".

@Fruitcake saidIf the petition gathers a large amount of signings it would give further support that this ongoing problem still concerns motorists and needs addressed with the suggested measures by the DLUHC... since the parking industry won't address it.

Call me a cynic ( guilty ) but I think the non posting or late posting of documents is all part of the deliberate ratcheting up of pressure on victims, many of them vulnerableThe pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.3 -

This is a Royal Mail issue, and affects all industries including the Police, Local Authority’s and the courts; therefore, the Gov will not single out an individual industry.0

In any case, In my opinion the 'Royal Mail' excuse just does not wash with the numbers of documents affected, particularly with those that arrive nearly a month late. I have personal experience of thatThe pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.2 -
