This is exactly the sort of thing that the DLUHC needs to know about.

No deterrent if the sign can't be read.
Zero cost of maintaining signage because they can't be bothered or don't care.
Cheap stickers used to update the sign so cost to the PPC is minimal.

I feel for you.

I also had the same in 2015; horrible experience.  I used the Police (utterly useless, to the point of making it worse) and the National Stalking Helpline (brilliant) which is part of the Suzy Lamplugh Trust.

The stalker wasn't from a parking firm but is someone known at the time to the regulars on this forum.  Some of them know.

He crawled back under his stone when I was assisted by a retired barrister to fight back against the threats.  And he's now dead. So I can speak about it and my trauma is over; sincerely hope yours is soon sorted and the person crawls back under their stone.

Thank you for being understanding.  In my life, kind words are few and far between. I agree the National Stalking Helpline is brilliant and highly recommended. 

Funnily enough, I credit the parking industry with giving me the backbone to confront my stalker rather than just accepting it as a fact of life.  After taking on Horizon Parking, I'm now willing to take on any perceived injustice (as I outlined in my response to the Call for Evidence), so some good has come from this experience.  Horizon Parking has created a monster!

You utterly wonderful woman @Coupon-mad.  Is this the finest example of turning evil to good use that we will see in this board, which is a beacon of hope.  To me, this board is fundamentally about stopping industrial-scale exploitation of upstanding citizens and empowering people to say: this must and will stop.  Thank you again on behalf of us all.  Humdinger

I don't know if is too late to submit anything now, but I have just seen part of an NTK showing a an 0845 number for the payment line. These premium rate numbers were banned in 2014, and I believe they are prohibited by both ATAs. Sadly the extract I have seen doesn't include the name of the PPC, but if anyone has photos of signs or NTKs with premium rate numbers, they should be submitted as evidence under behaviour and zero cost of updating signs to name but two.
