Hoping I'll now be able to copy posted images and attach them to my email response as I've acquired a new IT skill !!!
Thank you @Umkomaas3 -
Apologies for the long post but:-Oh dear - not for the first time I am disappointed with my family (love 'em to bits though). I have always dealt with any pcn's, with their written authority provided, which have always been cancelled by the landowner, POPLA and even a WHOPLA. Therefore no debt collectors letters received by any of them.I provided guidance and all they had to do was send an email in their own words to the DLUHC - to date not a single one has bothered to do it. (TBF there have been several unexpected experiences lately). As time is now pressing I wonder if it would be ok for me to send separate emails stating I dealt with the pcn because the RK was angry about the wording and the amount the greedy ppc was demanding and attach the relevant document cancelling the pcn.
I would point out if the ppc were not so greedy and the sum was up to £30 it would more likely to have been paid. So the ppc has lost money dealing with it by being so greedy and threatening all sorts of financial Armageddon (which the DLUHC are aware of).I would also point out in each email that this motorist is aware of the up to £70 fake fees, which would make payment even less likely, and provide links/pictures of the no win no fee boasts by DRP and Trace, plus G.O. interview. Also the fundamental error regarding DVLA look ups in the draft IA.I would also take a swipe at the role of the DVLA seemingly not providing any duty of care re motorists data given out knowing for years the scams going on (i.e. own space, double dip etc. etc.) using the excuse of the law and "reasonable cause" in favour of the ppc. But when it is proved, and the DVLA do not disagree, that the ppc has broken the Law, the KADOE contract and the AoS CoP the template response from the DVLA is to completely ignore, again in favour of the ppc. This therefore promotes a "no faith" attitude regarding the Government Dept. I would point out however that the new CoP will go some way to restore this motorists negative attitude towards the DVLA. This would come under the "non-monetarised" question in number 3.I obviously do not want to pee off the DLUHC by any suggestion of spamming etc, as each email would basically be the same, so wonder if anyone has any thoughts if this way of responding would be ok.1 -
Why not do one email attaching several pages summarising and showing evidence about each case you have assisted (one case one atrachment), then put what you want to say about the DVLA from your POV in the body of the email?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
