Everyone (especially motorists from Wales) should include this from the Welsh Government website concerning hospital parking charges, which is in line with Option 3 of the IA.
WN (Year) Number (gov.wales)
Car parking enforcement charges should be no more than charges levied by local authorities within the Health Board/Trust area;

"The most recent British Parking Association (BPA) census data states that 86% of charges issued by its members are issued via ANPR or MNPR cameras – up from 33% in 2011".

or MNPR camerasWhy on earth is the DLUHC giving 'MNPR' any status? It was 'MNPR' that was manipulated by UKPC weasels. How are PPCs checking the accuracy of every weasel's iPhone camera, or more so those of self ticketers?Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I suspect they do - you need to trust me - but please keep this thread on topic (no political rants please).
We need newbies to know what's needed.

Apart from here and the odd media article, the vast majority of motorists who have been scammed will not know0 -
Asda in Dundee Scotland has KFC in their car park built on parking spaces which were reported as “surplus and rarely utilised”.
If that's the case then why is this shopping time limit needed.
No ANPR on site...maybe waiting on keeper liability ito be brought in to Scotland.

£70 PCN LEVEL
@Nellymoser - Thankyou!
Odd if no ANPR cameras are set up yet...
BUT: this is the evidence we need please.
MORE PHOTOS AND LOCATIONS PLEASE, SHOWING CAR PARKS WITH NO DETERRENT (NO PPC AT ALL) OR LOW DETERRENTS UP TO £70.
£70 works for major retailers in large cities Scotland then. Even for parking in disabled bays...
So.... option 5 will work and no new signs will be needed except £100 ones at accessible bays and yellow lines/hatched (prohibited) areas.
I think the DLUHC has assumed all signs will need replacing. That's very wrong.
Less than half of BPA members signs will, by my reckoning, if the DLUHC do the right thing and choose option 5 - and in many cases that will bring in more money for operators as a consequence, because the more obstructive higher rate (at accessible bay areas which need clear signs anyway) will go up to £100 at supermarket car parks where it was £70.
Motorway Services signs won't need changing (mostly BPA firms) as they're already £100.
As for IPC firms:
No signs will need replacing at residential or staff/business car parks AIUI, because they are already all set at the max £100, being mainly run/ruined by greedy ex-wheelclampers.
No Airport no-stopping signs will need replacing either because they are already £100.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

We also need photos of signs that are damaged, ill or non-maintained, hidden by foliage, falling down, sun-bleached, and vandalised etcetera to show that PPCs don't maintain their signs at the moment and therefore there is zero or little cost because PPCs don't bother to maintain them.
All images need date stamps and a location included, and ideally backed up with historic images even if they are from Google Streetview showing the signs haven't been maintained for long periods.I married my cousin.
