Schedule 2 part 1 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 with regards to unfair terms:-14A term which has the object or effect of giving the trader the discretion to decide the price payable under the contract after the consumer has become bound by it, where no price or method of determining the price is agreed when the consumer becomes bound.1

Yes but this isn't relevant to this thread and nor is this idea in breach of the CRA (if PPC World want to put 'up to £100' on signs then let them try that. I have no issue with it).
It certainly isn't something we should object to, for various reasons. Let them dig their legal holes.
More importantly:
Let them shoot their own arguments about deterrent in the foot!
This is good evidence for the reasons I stated and will NOT cause higher PCNs. That wrong interpretation distracts from the purpose of this thread. This is an off-topic and unnecessary thing to discuss here IMHO and is not needed on this thread ... please.
In any event, the sign mentions the Parking Code of Practice which does (will) provide a method of determining the £charge. No PPC will be able to issue overstay PCNs for £100 because that would breach the statutory Code.
Please can we return to photos of signs?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Schedule 2 part 1 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 with regards to unfair terms: This is outdated and does not reflect on how parking scammers operate.
Sure you want pictures and over the weekend I will upload more
But what you have said ... "In any event, the sign mentions the Parking Code of Practice which does (will) provide a method of determining the £charge. No PPC will be able to issue overstay PCNs for £100 because that would breach the statutory Code." .... is correct, how much will they be able to charge for an overstay ?
And what about the rubbish of UKPC ... "DRIVER LEFT SITE"0 -
Not sure if this will work.....Whats this? an Aldi with no PPC ? busy car park with disabled bays available?General view of busy car park (top photo) - note the lack of a PPC and no "carmageddon" or chaos, people parking up in the bays with no obstructions and traffic flowing freelyGeneral view of disabled bays/area, note even though the car park is busy, and even though there is no Parking company present, there are still plenty of disabled bays available with zero mass abuse of the facilitiesFrom the Plain Language Commission:

Looks like a multi-outlet retail park where Aldi is not the main player (PPC contractor). Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
