Some pictures of our local "Tesco" car park, although it actually belongs to the whole centre (shops, dentist, school, pub, gym) as Tesco found out when they tried to force people to shop at Tesco and the local council pointed out the conditions of the planning application! Only signs are for accessible spaces with Horizon Parking on them. It was Monday morning but it is rarely full so that you cannot find a space. I have never seen a car with a NTD on it for parking in the accessible spaces (fee is £70) and drivers tend to honour them. Very occasionally I have seen children get out of a car and I am thinking no way are they Parent & Child" sized! I have also never seen a ticketing operative.
Also, although no pictures, Stamford Hospital is free to all patients and has no signs (hence no photos). Always spaces available and no abuse of accessible spaces.

We have 2 supermarkets in our town ... Aldi with Parking Eye, and Sainsbury's with confusing signage - I think it's Euro Car Parks, but there's also signage for longer term parking called Horizon Spaces. I'll try to remember to take photos at both locations.
Aldi car park can get busy, and it has a 90 minute limit plus ANPR cameras. But I think the PCN charge is £70.
Sainsbury's car park never gets anywhere near full - you can always find a space.Jenni x1 -
Block and Quick superstore, Taunton, less than a quarter mile from Junction 25 of the M5. No infestation.
The only signs are for opening hours and polite notices about the use of accessible bays.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks2 -

That's what good looks like.
These retail parks with £70 PCNs, fairly clear terms and an option to pay for long-term parking is sensible land management.
The only extra thing they'll need is properly policed accessible bays to comply with the new statutory CoP in 2024, but they should be doing that anyway to comply with the EA.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

@Coupon-mad - I think there were some more signs near the accessible bays but didn't check them out. This is a busy area with lots of facilities and businesses around. I also went to a large retail park nearer to town centre but whilst they had no time restrictions that I could see they did have £100 charges for leaving the site. I have no idea how they would police that in practice.2025 Decluttering Campaign 531/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

I found this interesting in a UKPC contract regarding the cancellation of PCN,s, which limits the client/landowner to no more than 10% in a calendar month. It’s the last bullet point at the bottom of the page. Surely there should be no limit for anyone with a valid reason for cancellation.
