Immediately opposite those open forecourts are two very badly signed car parks behind Timpsons, etc: 

Boundary Road shops
Portslade
Brighton
East Sussex


Apparently both these are infested by One Parking Solution but you'd be forgiven for missing it along the graffiti, glue-covered signage and clamping threats.

Looks like there was a new sign stuck over this old OPS one but it's fallen off, never replaced:

So - along the entire fence are illegal clamping & towing signs, in an OPS car park.  Where's the contractual sign?

On the back wall.  Here it is!

They also have parking behind the office.  Looks unrestricted at first glance, if you were a customer wanting to park there:


 

But they have a garage a bit further back, with a PPC infesting the area...

What...where's the PPC sign then?

Round the back of the drainpipe, at leg height, if course! Nicely hidden, 'Regent Parking' (a firm that oddly looks like a shell business name but that's another story):

Opposite the Medical Centre my contact found two large, multiple-flats residential car park entrances. No barriers.

Between Park Court and St Ann's Court in Somerfield Road, Hove, BN3

One is infested by a PPC and one isn't.

Impossible for an average driver to tell.

On the left, ParkCourt, undercroft parking.

And compare that to adjacent St Ann's Court

Has ONE PARKING SOLUTION infesting it, but an average driver could blink & miss it.

No PPC entrance sign seen on the way in:

Oh look, there's a black & white OPS sign on the wall top right (above pic) but not facing drivers.

And a collage of large signs behind the bins. Including a threat of illegal clamping.

Guess which sign is the small unreadable one?

My contact walked down here this week:

The Drive, Hove B2185
City centre; near the station, shops, schools & parks. All roads permit-only till 8pm but almost no private land spaces have a PPC.

Here's one that apparently does have a PPC:

Cambridge Grove
(a private road and Mews)

No entrance sign visible and cars park along it:

Inside: a big red illegal 'clamping threat' sign that Google shows has been there over 5 years and it's still in place, despite two IPC PPCs infesting it in that time:

No sign of a PPC in the Mews, my contact just saw home made signs & loads of cars (blacked out for privacy) parked across most of the 'constant use' garages:

Google StreetView shows it used to be UKCPM here, with poor signs hidden in foliage:


So is NPM any better?
