Yeah i have been looking at new mowers. The one we have now is a flymo but its knocking on abit now and i broke the lid a few weeks back so it doesnt collect the cut grass very well now.
The grass is definitely looking abit worse for wear today. Im keeping my fingers crossed it will come back as the previous posters have stated
P.s excuse the patio area. Its a work in progress!!

Don't know about decent - I've got a basic flymo on offer from Argos but various cutting heights easily done and blade or plastic whip thingy.
But keeping the blades sharpened ie once a year and clearing vents after use makes a difference. Sharpening stone, stiff paint brush and blunt old kitchen knife - done.
I paid for sharpening last autumn but no better than my efforts
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
viral kindness .....kindness is contageous pass it on
