LG television bought from Richer Sounds several years ago, lost warranty certificate.
Thought let's give local store a ring and see if still in warranty, within seconds told six months warranty left and will email across copy of warranty certificate and sales receipt.
Asked is the problem the picture has gone blue, replied yes, told known issue with my model.
Given number of service and repair provider (external to Richer Sounds).
Rang them first thing Monday morning, promised a call back, call back within the hour. We'll be out to you Thursday, will ring Thursday morning and give you a timeslot.
Rang back Thursday morning and gave a timeslot, arrived within timeslot. Told we do not repair on site will need to take away, we have a target turn round time of ten days, but usually under that.
Told to ring Richer Sounds and they will provide a loan set (deposit required).
Rang Richer Sounds and told to ring back next morning and they will have a loan set available.
In the meantime connected up our previous LG TV, switched on straight away, retuned everything working fine, rang Richer Sounds informed them loan set not required.
Fast Forward to following Wednesday, phone call from repairer, TV ready for return, will call in the morning with a timeslot.
Thursday at 09:05 phone call, we will deliver between 11:00 and 14:00 today, 13:20 television returned, engineer connected back up and asked if we were satisfied with the picture quality.
Absolutely fine
Top marks to Richer Sounds and their service provider

It should alert them when next online (with an indicator on the Bell icon) that they've been mentioned in a thread.

Richer Sounds have an excellent reputation. Our LG tv is in its 13th year and it’s still going strong. It was bought cheaply from Makro as it was a demo model. We are determined not to get a new one until this one bites the dust. Will probably get another LG as the ones we have looked at have come top of Which reviews.0
