Hi everyone,
It's still quiet here, Laura messaged from the wedding to say that Esben was really struggling with his hearing because the venue was very echoey and there were 200 people there, he perked up when the disco started though. They weren't going to go because children weren't invited but the Brian was asked to do some of the music and they were told they could take E and E, I hope they didn't get too many death stares from the people who had to leave their kids at home. Tbf I think Laura would have been the only one breastfeeding a baby so not as easy to leave as some.
I bought some spinning shelves for the fridge yesterday. We have so many jars of jam and chutney it was difficult to see what was there, it's a definite improvement. I've also ordered some storage boxes to try to make better use of the space.
Have a good day.

Good afternoon chums , just eating up what's available in the fridge as I only have today tomorrow and Monday then I'm in hospital on Tueday.
Tomorrow I go to youngest DDs for dinner so only have breakfast and a light lunch to do, and tonight I have some salmon I dug out of the freezer for dinner .I raked over where my DGS had dug the row of spuds up, and found some odd ones they missed which will do mashed for dinner tonight, with some veg from the freezer and the salmon tonight dinner is sorted.
Mondays dinner will not be a problem as I am at my other DDs for dinner in the evening so again just a breakfast and light lunch ,probably some soup to sort out from the freezer.
In my fridge at the moment the only fresh stuff to use up is some sliced ham, a couple of tomatoes and the tail end of the lettuce and cucumber, so that will soon be eaten up.
I don't want to leave anything fresh in there in case I'm in hospital longer than I am hoping for .its easy enough to get fresh stuff when I come out as three of my DGS who only live a few roads away will pop top the shops for me.
Weather has been very changeable here one minute sunshine, than it changes to overcast and dark, then half an hour later its bright again, very odd for July, but rain is forecast virtually every day on and off for the next week I think.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend I have my feet up and just doing a bit of knitting with the wireless on classic fm, very relaxing .
Cheers chums
