When do GCs Reduced Their Seeds?

Pre-pandemic, Dobies used to sell their seeds for £1 each, but I haven't visited one since. Does anyone know when they have their sale on? I think it would be sometime in August so then they clear their stock for Christmas stuff. B&Q and Homebase have rubbish sales. Wilko's have theirs atm for 50% off, but their range is quite small. I'm mainly after flower seeds.
TIA.

My local Wilmslow GC had their seed at half price when I dropped in last week. I’d keep an eye on your local Wilko as they seem about to go bankrupt so will likely be selling off their stock.1

I just bought a load of flower seeds the other day from Wilcos in Beverley. 70% off marked price, the prices were £1/£1.50/£2. They had their own brand and Johnson’s.You have the same number of hours in the day as Einstein had. Use them.1

Independent ones don't in my experience.
Chain ones do but it's short and sharp and all gone.
I did see a basket of reduced seeds somewhere today but still £1 a packet.
Saving my own this year from whats growing.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

My Wilkos seeds last year were much cheaper later in the year, but with a much smaller choice of course. I wonder, though, whether this is linked to them going into administration. Perhaps not a good idea to leave it too long.YoungBlueEyes said:I just bought a load of flower seeds the other day from Wilcos in Beverley. 70% off marked price, the prices were £1/£1.50/£2. I'm not interested in Wilko's range as it's limited to the most popular varieties. I'm after flowers that aren't so common. I remember Dobbies had a good range of Sarah Raven ones.0
