Is this a scam?

I keep seeing offers on social media that seem too good to be true. The maxim is, if it's too good to be true then it probably is. The offers I've seen say, the items are 'backlogs
of stock from Amazon in our warehouse that have now reached their
contract period and the products have not been disposed of in a timely
manner. Our warehouse has the right to sell these stocks at a low price
to reduce our losses.'
I've tried various searches on Google etc. but I can't seem to come to any conclusion as to whether this is legit or a scam. Has anyone seen these ads and bought any of the items? The comments on social media claim that the items have been ordered and they're excellent. I'm too suspicious to believe those comments.

Of course it’s a scam.
If it were true (it is not remotely true) then Amazon would sell the stock in bulk rather than piecemeal to individuals. If Amazon were selling stuff off cheaply, they would promote it on their website not on social media.I am an Independent Financial Adviser. This isn't an individual. They claim to be a company that has bought in bulk from Amazon and they have an external website. There is no padlock in the address bar so no real info. I haven't put a link on here in case someone falls for it. I will try to contact Amazon. I won't be buying from them.

Yes people buy pallets of returned goods and yes maybe 5% of the people saying they made a fortune what you don't get
to hear about are the 95% that threw their money in the bin because everything on the pallet was broken or just not worth
what they paid.
Spend £500+ on a pallet and find its 300 sub 99p items and half of them are broken or its a faulty batch.
Goto a proper auction and see what is on the pallets or in the cages and see how much they sell for but watch out for the
auction fee's. My local auction charge 20% or 30% plus another 20% VAT. So bidding £500 on a pallet could be
£700 to £800 when you come to pay.
On viewing day you see buyers checking ebay/amazon etc. and also distribution warehouses. One buyer paid £60
for a plastic garden box/bench which would have been just over £90 but the same bench was on sale at B&Q for £50.
So they almost double for a bench they cannot return even if its broken/missing parts.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
I've found some information. It's a scam of course. Social media is becoming swamped with this kind of thing as more and more people jump on the greed machine. https://malwaretips.com/blogs/dtoolstore-top/?fbclid=IwAR3x_lWZvoj-FmxOIDsG17fkfqR0qzpU7O5oM9bAhk0PsBnI249gbIov-go

Today it's that URL and tomorrow it could be something different. The websites are setup to swap URL and names
instantly. A few clicks and the website will be closed on one URL and open on another.
I do wonder why some companies pay for a domain and website yet use generic email hosts. To me it looks
unprofessional and makes me wonder if its a scam company.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
