Sainsbury credit card

I want a new credit card and note Sainsbury's Bank credit card give a slightly better deal ie.
Get 8,000 bonus Nectar points if you spend £400+ at Sainsbury's/ Argos in the first two months – worth £4. as quoted on the MSE website 
 Sainburys' Bank makes no mention of this deal so I rang them and they couldn't find if this deal still existed
Are there any Moneysavers who can explain this or does MSE need to update its information ?

Advice, excluding AMEX, re best reward credit card will be much appreciated

The Barclaycard Avios or Virgin Money Airlines cards are amongst the best non-Amex reward cards.
Depends what you're looking for mostly e.g. Avios can be converted to Nectar.
