Bit sensational the news today they just on a non crisis. Looks like tracker can handle these little blips 15pkwh for electricity for us today.[Deleted User] said:
LNG prices rose by 49% yesterday. Octopus Tracker Gas is 20% more expensive today. I doubt that Cornwall Insight’s modelling takes into accounts such things as a possible major strike in Australia when assessing price trends.IAMIAM said:Is this worth fixing to now? Seems top of Martins league table as its 5% cheaper than price cap......just can't tell if its worth it....

Supply and demand. European gas stocks are high so little need for LNG imports, and the LNG workers strike in Aussie has yet to start.Mstty said:

Some people like passing on sensational click bait. This is a little storm, soon to be over and the market can take this imo.Based on your expansive knowledge of the LNG market? Aussie LNG production now accounts for over 20% of global production (or is this more clickbait?). Most of the production goes to China. If China cannot gets its LNG from Australia then it will pay more to get LNG from the Gulf.

This is, like so many other threads gone completely off topic and poor by some regulars I will end my involvement here.
"Credit Suisse analyst Saul Kavonic said the risk of strikes stopping production across the LNG plants for more than a week was exceptionally low."
