Applying for Confirmation of Later mothers estate

I have twice submitted the C1 form for my mothers estate, Dumbarton Sheriff Court, refused both times no reason given as over £36k although under £325k, and don't provide advice. I believe the inventory is correct as done this before many years ago for my late father. I think it is about the legal wording and about name and address changes. Is anyone able to provide an example/s of a successful confirmation application?
Thanks

There are several whole threads with examples. Might be worth reading those and then asking buddy9 to comment on specific issues? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

Hi buddy9
I have struggled to get the form attached in anyway, one sheet linked, hoepfully!
The questions I have which I think may have caused this to be rejected are;
1. My Dad is listed as beneficiary on the will, but he died 20 years ago, should this be noted somewhere?
2. Both my Mother and myself have moved home since will, I have noted that but not the new address, should this be included
3. I have also got married and changed my name, I have noted this as nee maiden name, included the marriage certificate. Does there need to be included a note
4. I docquetted the will on the front page, but noted from another thread this should be on the will itself, is this correct
Thanks
K

Are there two executors? If so what is the other person's relationship, and are you the first listed on the will?

The will appoints me, then aforesaid if failing my sister, does this mean I don't need to include her ?0

Here are some comments and suggestions:

Not an issue - unless he is also listed as an executor.
2. Both my Mother and myself have moved home since will, I have noted that but not the new address, should this be included
Your current address should be used on page 1. Your address difference is referenced in para 2 of page 2 (example below).
Your mother’s recent address should be used on page 1, both addresses shown in para 1 of page 2 (example below), and then the address difference referenced in para 2 of page 2 (example below).
3. I have also got married and changed my name, I have noted this as nee maiden name, included the marriage certificate. Does there need to be included a note
Your current name is used on page 1. The name change is also referenced in para 2 of page 2. The marriage certificate does not need to be submitted.
Page 2 para 1 example:
[insert full name] residing sometime at [insert will address] and latterly at [insert last address]
Page 2 Para 1: - correct spelling is ‘Sheriffdom’
Page 2 para 2 example:
That I am
the daughter and executrix-nominate of the deceased conform to her will dated the 6th of December 1994 herewith exhibited and docquetted, and signed by me as relative hereto.
In said will the deceased is designed as residing at **************, a former address.
Also in said will I am named as K***** ***** *****, a former name, and I am designed as residing at ** ************, a former address.
In para 3 of page 2: select ‘executrix’ from the two options, and pen through the words “along with the said”.
You show the inventory as pages 3 to 5. Pages 4 and 5 are not part of the inventory. (unless you are using the extended form)
Sister is a substitute and should not be included in the C1.
