Something stinks with Vanquis balance transfer

An offer came up in my TotallyMoney app a couple of weeks ago for a 9 month 0% balance transfer offer with Vanquis, normal APR @ 29.3%, Guaranteed limit of £1,500 which I applied for and got.
I've a very small balance of £240 on my Asda Money card which I tried to transfer yesterday and Vanquis text me this morning saying they couldn't complete the transfer. I just called them and they said the Asda card isn't a credit card? it's a money card? All very confused. AFAIK it's a full credit card issued by Jaja Finance. I asked the rep why I wasn't told certain cards couldn't be used before I accepted their offer and they said it's in T&Cs
.
To be honest, I'm not at all bothered as I'll pay off in full the Asda card on it's due date but a bit cheesed off with Vanquis to he honest.
Anyone else had this issue?

Only 0% Vanquis card I can find has a 2.9% fee, why would you pay that if you've already got the money to pay off a relatively small balance?
While you may have missed the details when you read the T&C's, they've saved you money so look on the bright side.1 -
Yes I know that now! Have paid balance off in full but now the BT offer has disappeared from the Vanquis app.. Was told on Friday I'd get a call within 24 hours to reset it, wonder if I should leave it til next week and if I don't receive a call raise a complaintSuperAllyB said:Only 0% Vanquis card I can find has a 2.9% fee, why would you pay that if you've already got the money to pay off a relatively small balance?
