NatWest ISA & Digital regular saver

Options

Apologies if I come over as a bit confused but, I have at long last managed to open and fund my NatWest ISA as a new customer.

Now when I’m logged in, it appears I could also open a digital regular saver but reading through the information it looks like I would have to also open a current account even though I have online access to NatWest, is that the case?

I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.

    Unfortunately you would require a current account.

    "To apply, you must be 16+ and hold a NatWest current account, and this must be your only Digital Regular Saver account."

    ...but on the plus side, you could make a few extra quid a month out of having a 'reward' current account with them (and a few quid more than that if you'd qualify for a 'premier award' account)

    Yeah, you need a current account with them but their normal non-fee account will do. You can even have a £200 switching bonus for opening it if you can be bothered.

    With regards the NatWest reward account, is it a fairly simple process to upgrade a current account as an existing customer? Do they send you a new card etc?

    Simple process, if you go to the product page and select existing customer there is a webform.

    I don't think I was sent a new card when I upgraded from the select to the reward, but I cannot remember for certain. I was certainly sent a new card when I upgraded from the adapt to the select.

    I never got a new card for upgrading Natwest/RBS select into reward. Off the top of my head:
    LBG (majority of the time), Natwest group, Santander and HSBC didn't send me a new card when I've converted accounts with them.
    TSB and Nationwide have sent replacement cards.
