This not a rant about a fine, just an enquiry.
I think I have read somewhere that if a parking notice is placed in a position, where it can't be read (Like 7ft high) can affect any fines presented to users of the car park, as they can't read the contractual stipulations.
Thank You

No specific rules about the height the signage is placed. In fact there are very few rules about anything and even then, parking firms do what they like anyway. But, times they are a-changing, with the new Code of Practice emanating from Parking (Code of Practice) Act 2019 likely to be fully implemented in 2024.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

It's not a fine but regardless, you don't pay extortionate private parking charges anyway. Signs or no signs the industry has shown by its own conduct that it is rotten to the core.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
