    absolutely not. You can get better returns in the building society now than you will on BTL, without the risk and hassle.

    I don't know why many seem to hold the view that becoming a BTL landlord is some sort of cheat code or shortcut to immeasurable financial wealth. Especially in the current situation of ever-increasing 'anti-landlord' legislation and a cost of living crisis.
    Maybe something to do with the dozens of companies marketing "property education" as a route to get rich quick. It's scary how much they charge giving people misleading and unachievable dreams.
    I think about £2k/£3K for the initial course, which mainly is a hard sell to pay to move on to the next level, which costs around £10K and includes one to one support, which inevitably disappears like a puff of wind after a few weeks.
