CCJ dated Feb '23 paid. Any hope of set-aside?

Thanks for your responses.
I would have thought that my position of 'paid CCJ to end threat of bailiff action, with mind to disputing later' would be more common.
Either way, not going to bin £275 and time if chances of it being set aside are close to nil.
@Grizebeck are you able to offer any details on specific cases?1 -
Basically the judge said she was minded not to allow a set aside after judges on that circuit (newcastle area) had been told by the MOJ that setting aside a paid for judgment won't result it's removal. I explained that it does and why it does. She then awarded the set aside.Le_Kirk said:
@Grizebeck, what is the detail behind this little titbit please? Will be handy for other posters in same position.Grizebeck said:
A judge wasn't going to allow a set-aside in one case as they had been advised by the MOJ that once paid they cant be removed, i advised this approach wasn't correct and the case set asideCoupon-mad said:I think the fact you've paid it is the biggest mistake.
In fact the majority of my court work the last few months has been dealing with set asides where they have been paid2 -
No as not relevant to your case.Harry1818 said:Thanks for your responses.
