If you can take it to the post office and ask for proof of posting, it's free.If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.1

"Base on the content of your recent correspondence we have place a hold on your account, to prevent collections activity and we have raised a query with out client.
Please note this process ca take some time, however please be assured that the account will remain on hold, preventing collection activity until we have a response from our client.

So.....
Sorry to necro this thread, but after all this time i get another letter (from resolvecall), about a LLOyds TSB account (not banked with them in 10+ years).
THis one has a diffferent account number than the last one.
last time i sent a letter (as advisded on here), do i do the same?
How would this be:Dear Resolvecall,
I am writing in response to a letter from capquest with regards to your reference number XXXXXXXXXXX. A copy is attached.
I have no knowledge of any such debt being owed to Lloyds Bank PLC.
If you do not stop collection activity whilst investigating my dispute, you are breaking FCA rules and guidance. Also, ignoring claims that accounts are in dispute and continuing to make unjustified demands for payment is harassment.
Please provide evidence of my liability for the alleged debt or send me written confirmation that this matter is now closed.
I look forward to hearing from you.dsandoreo

Yes send them the letter. There is always the off chance they will knock on the door if they do just tell them to go away.If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.1

That or the prove-it letter will suffice.
Resolvecall won`t deal with disputes, they are only engaged as collection agents, they will just return the account to their client.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
