Hi everyone,
Coxy, I hope the VR is acceptable.
Enjoy your time in Glasgow Gers and you in Skipton TA.
Camelot, I hope your get your mojo back soon, I'm the same with my sewing, I never seem to have time to think about it let alone do it.
Grr just had a bit of a run in with Brian. I sometimes bite my tongue so hard, but this time a comment escaped me, I shouldn't have I know but when he wants me to take the kids off his hands it's fine but I'm not allowed an opinion when I can see there's a problem.
Rant over, I suppose it's inevitable there are stresses and strains living cheek by jowl but they're off to a wedding in Glasgow tomorrow for a few days and then we go to Austria for a holiday at the end of next week so that will give us a break.
Have a good day.

Two of my DGS Ben and Jack came at lunchtime just after I got back from the District Nurse (fingers crossed last appointment ) They both got stuck in and dug some spuds up enough for a bag for my neighbour, and a big bag for their Mum.
We are all pleased with the result and that was from only 5 plants. Two Tesco carrier bagsfull !!
My lovely young neighbour was delighted as she is a single Mum and I know things can be a bit tight for her at times..
The lads were chuffed to bits with the haul and Ben can't wait to decide what he will plant next to grow.
Had a call from my consultants secretary, and she said no problems everything is full steam ahead for next Tuesday's op. so I'm a pretty happy lady this afternoon.
The sun decided to stay out and its pretty warm at the moment around 24c which is nice as there is just a slight breeze so its not too hot.
I feel for the poor folk in Greece and southern europe that are not having a great time and the summer tourists are their livelihoods
Hope everyone is OK and we are almost at the end of July already ! time is certainly flying at the moment
Take care all

Hi all,
Secret squirrel posting from the office shhhhhh! Still no VR letter for me. They seem to be sending them out at a rate of one per hour...... Won't know terms until August, only if it's a successful application or not. Mood in the office is dire today.
Good for you @snoozer - can't be easy living in close proximity when you are all adults (apart from E&E of course) - is their plan to move on somewhere eventually? Sorry if I missed that.
Enjoy tea and cake @-taff and the bus trip @TravellingAbuela.
Had to chortle at @mehefin aka the Wasp Slayer.
Have a good day all

Back from the museum trip - didn't need to open the first aid box but one of the ladies stumbled when getting in the mini bus - went to fall backwards but I caught her - should try out for the cricket team.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
