Car Insurance Policy Increase

My daughter received an e-mail because when she filled out the form for a quote she said she had 3 full years NCD, which she did at the time, but by the time she got her proof of NCD back from the previous insurer it had then gone to 4 years NCD.
However, instead of her quote going down, she’s been asked to pay £56.39 more. Why is this?

Ask them to separate the change in premium and the administration fee... could be the discount is £3.61 but admin fee £601
