Civil Enforcement response to my response to LBA/LBC

Good morning, i have read through a lot of the Newbies Sticky thread, but would appreciate some assistance.
I responded to a Civil enforcement LBC letter recently, after a parking fine in 2021. The parking fine was given after it stated i had overstayed parking in Starbucks by 20 mins. They have a tablet in the Starbucks that i was very good at updating to get an extra 2 hours (though maybe i missed this one!)
I had ignored previous chases, but responded to the LBC, following guidance on here, as most information was missing.
They have now responded giving more information and print outs of the previous letters sent etc and have now extended my response needed date by 14 days.
Any help of what i can do next would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

It is not a fine.
What happened when you complained to the landowner/manager/CEO and your MP? This is always Plan A and it is never too late to do so.
Carry on reading the guide to court written by bargepole that you will find in the NEWBIES, and the template defence sticky thread as well in preparation for a court claim. Did you issue a 30 day hold instruction because you are seeking debt advice? If you haven't, and you want more time, you should do this a few days before the deadline given on the LBA.
Get photos of the site and signage. Use Google Streetview to see if there are any useful historic images.
Where did the alleged event occur? It may have cropped up here before.
When you get to producing a defence, add a point that you believe the tablet was not working at the material time and put the claimant to strict proof that the contrary is true. It is just as likely that this is the case and the driver did in fact enter their VRM.

Hi thanks for your responses.
I have reached out today to both the landowner of the Starbucks and my local MP.
What i am struggling to find on the thread is how to respond to the recent response to my first response to the LBC.
I responded asking for the information missing as guided on here and they have come back with further information and copies of the letters (which we sent to an old address even though i had updated my new address with DVLA)
By the time they letters were sent to my new address the invoice was up to £170.
I need to respond to this by the 2nd of August.
Appreciate your assistance.

Maybe you updated your driver's licence details but did you update your V5C logbook? They get your details from your logbook. Do you realise that you can be fined up to £1,000 for not doing so?Jbpboro said:I responded asking for the information missing as guided on here and they have come back with further information and copies of the letters (which we sent to an old address even though i had updated my new address with DVLA)1 -

...like the NEWBIES thread tells you.
Add that their unreliable keypad must have failed when the driver was in Starbucks where extra time is allowed for patrons. Further, the NTK was 'non-POFA' and it will be common ground (because all parties know) that the NTK was never delivered to the keeper, so the alleged debt is disputed.
DO NOT imply who was driving! Do not say 'me'.
That 30 days buys you time to escalate your complaints and see/talk to your MP, etc., and to read and see what we are saying about the imminently-expected DLUHC announcement to resurrect the statutory Code of Practice, which we hope might include some useful words and analysis that people with LBCs & claims can then use as ammo to stop cases in their tracks.PRIVATE 'PCN'?
