Does anyone know if you are entitled to interest on overpaid tax. I have been waiting for nearly 4 months for overpaid tax from HMRC, in view of the amount they advised process takes longer and it will need also to be sent by cheque. This relates to overpaid tax by myself for previous tax year.
I know if the roles were reversed they would apply daily interest. What right therefore do we have as individuals.
