Wickes G24 Parking ticket cancelled

Thanks to the info here my wickes parking fine has been cancelled. I just wrote to customer services with the following email and they wrote back saying they had contacted the parking company and it's been cancelled.

Hi, I received a parking fine for parking at wickes xxxx branch on xxxx.
I stayed over the limit as I was in store for a bathroom design appointment and spent a while after the appointment looking at components. As you can imagine spending thousands on a bathroom is not something to rush and we had lost track of time. The car park was not busy at the time, so we did not prevent others visiting the store.
I'd appreciate it if you canceled this parking ticket ref xxxx. If this stands you have lost me and my family as future customers.

Well done, and thank you for giving us the good news of your success. For the benefit of any others who might similarly get caught out at that particular Wickes outlet, could you please tell us at what location, and, importantly, which parking firm was involved. 

PS - by the way - it was never a 'fine', rather a speculative invoice from an unregulated parking company.

Chester store - though I contacted generic customer services via Wickes webpage, G24 are the parking company.

This is great and it's a nice concise/polite but hard-hitting example of landowner complaint.

Please could you post it in Successful Complaints About PPCs, for posterity and longevity, so that more people can be signposted to it later?

Got a similar "fine" from G24 for overstaying in the Wickes branch in St Albans during a bathroom design appointment. Contacted Wickes customer services and they claim nothing they can do about it!

Then find out who the retail park managing agent or landowner is and complain to them

Cancel your order with Wickes, that should focus their attention!
