Could be a Apple pay Or Android Pay transaction & not a physical card one.

That's what I thought but nothing showing against Apple Pay and the location was puzzling.  I've reported it as fraudulent anyway.

It wont show against your AP acc, it will be someone setting up a AP acc using your card details.

  • When contactless first started being widely available there were posts on Youtube showing how to decontactlessify a card.

You "candle" the card using a bright light to work out where the aerial goes.  Then drill a hole through the aerial, or cut a notch in the side of the card through it.  You'd want to avoid the chip, and probably the magnetic stripe too.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
