Car Insurance Hikes ( Saga in particular )
Wife's Fiat 500 Car insurance is up for renewal with Saga - it's basically doubled - looking at their Twitter Feed this seems to be the norm - using the new MSE Car Insurance Hub got a quote from a reputable company for a £ 1 less than last year with very similar benefits and even less excess !! Spoke to Saga this morning but no hope of a better deal anywhere near last years plus inflation without loosing quality of cover as I was told they have used a "panel of Underwriters" to find me the best price - anyone else been noticing this ??

Seems to be the norm this year. There are several threads running about the increases.Why not try one of the Comparison Sites and see what that shows/0

My then insurer increased premium by approx 60%, found lower like for like quote on comparison site but still 30% up on previous year0
