This one.
I know they put in changes so that the desktop app doesn't work which didn't bother me really. I always accessed it via File Explorer in Windows 10.
I don't remember how I did it but I had it so that when I opened File Explorer, it was listed as drive Z on the left pane, both under Quick Access and also under This PC as the final drive in the hard drives list.
I went to access it last night having not accessed it for a little while & noticed it had totally gone. Z was listed under quick access but it lead to nothing.
I could find the drive under Network but only the public folder & TimeMachineBackup folder .... not the folders I had tied to my account.
Through some Googling I stumbled across a page with a link which lead me to turn on Local Area Network Access (though if this was ever applied, which I assume it must have been?? Then I certainly hadn't removed this). This then made me create an account/name.
So now the drive shows, but not as drive Z ... it's now <my name>\\MYCLOUDBLAHBLAH (Z).
Yeah I can access it so "so what" kind of thing, but I'm just asking why it went from being able to be accessed no problem via File Explorer to then not showing at all (when I hadn't changed anything) and now it shows ... just differently to what it did.

Don't suppose there's any other WD MyCloud Home users here who may have experienced an issue this week?
Mine has been easily accessible via ThisPC in Windows 10. It showed up as mentioned above & has done so every day from then until yesterday.
Since yesterday, it has a red X over the drive & when I double click it it says an error occurred, the local device name is already in use & the connection has not been restored.
I can access the drive via the mobile app but that's pretty crappy.
Really not sure why all of a sudden it's decided to stop working. I haven't tinkered with any settings at all.0 -
Mine has never shown in file explorer I've always had to access it buy doing run \\WDMyCloud0

@GrubbyGirl_2 After some messing around and erasing settings, I finally got mine back in to File Explorer.
Also, mine wasn't accessible via File Explorer by default - I had to set it that way.1
