Morning everyone
Wet and windy here - I was meant to be helping DD in her garden this afternoon but we'll see - if not I have my packing to start.
I'll go down to mam and dads soon for a cuppa and a chat and to write his weekly email to eldest DD in Germany.
Camelot - thank you - my memory is so bad that I'd forgotten I want to go and see the Banksy exhibition. When I last looked the tickets hadn't been released for August. What is the station tour?
Well I'd better get sorted - hope everyone has a good day today x

Morning all up reasonably late then off to the tip as we loaded the car up yesterday but rain put paid to that plan i noticed they are putting in a booking system which is fine but it never seems busy anyway.
My aunt and one of my cousins are coming today which will be nice as i have been meaning to go over but we seem to have been busy every week and my cousin lives way up north so we only see each other at events we were very close as children and they are all godparents to my 3 children .
Washing will go on tonight hopefully it will be a nice day . I am unlikely to get on tomorrow as i need to go and get DGS i will be leaving at 5.45am hopefully the M25 will be quieter as its holiday time then back home for my 3 day child minding
Dinner tonight is lasagne and garlic bread
Ruby Hope you are ok with all the heat and fires in Greece
Have a good day whatever you are all up to stay dry xSlava Ukraini6 -
Well good morning chums , no idea why but last night I woke every two hours for no apparent reason. Got up in the end at 4.45 and made a cuppa, and watched Adam Hills Clown Heart show that I had recorded on my TiVo box .it was really quite good, and he's not my favourite comic but I quite enjoyed it .
Then I watched a true genius, I had recorded An Evening With Sammy Davis Jnr which was on BBC 4.
I remember going to see him at the London Palladium years ago.I
had forgotten how really good he was, if you can get it on catch-up its well worth watching, his timing for self-deprecating comedy, and singing voice is excellent. I can't think of anyone today who could match him.
The sun keeps trying to come out , but I too thought it a bit nippy this morning and wore my dressing gown when I got up . By 7.30 I was beginning to flag a little, so went upstairs made my bed and laid down for a half hour to listen to some nice classic FM and dropped off for an hour .So now feel quite refreshed and bright-eyed as opposed to how I was at 4.45.am
Off to youngest DDs late this afternoon for regular Sunday dinner.
Mikey is home from Uni for a couple of weeks (needs feeding up far too thin.) and Jack has the weekend at home from his residential school job
Henry is still at home until mid August when he moves up to London to live, so three of the boys will be there .
Ben was due to come home but decided to come back this Tuesday instead and he will be home until with Henry he goes back to his house share in London.
One of the fellow housemates is moving abroad, so Henry decided to move in with his brother. Makes sense really as he works in the City and his fares from down here in Kent are over £140.00 a week !.
Whereas from the London house it will be around £4.00 a day. So although his rent will be expensive as opposed to living at home where its freehis fares will chop a great deal of cash off his new rent.
You can tell he's a banker can't you he works his finances out very well. He did finance and accounting at Uni
Right the kettle is calling me
Have a good Sunday whatever you are doing
