I find Hoseasons is always the cheapest place to look. They are a 'broker' of sorts so you get hundreds and hundreds of different sites all across the country. A quick look at your dates (Friday to Monday) in the Southwest of England brings in 133 results with the cheapeast being £249.

no such thing as cheap parks, however I find private sales better https://ukcaravan4sale.co.uk/Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.1

I know this doesn't exactly answer your question but I'm going to post it anyway.
We have found that campsites and places like Center Parcs are significantly cheaper in France, even when taking into account the cost of the ferry crossing.
It is still going to be more expensive than your budgeted £500, but worth considering for a future year if you were after something a bit different at a proportionally low cost.0 -
We've just booked a Premier inn for 4 nights in Devon for £400 during August. Playing around with the dates we could have got it a bit cheaper.
I don't cook on holiday so have no real need for a kitchen areaMake £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

For future reference looking at Air BnB could be a good option for you, you can find some great deals sometimes.0

The term 'cheap holiday park' makes me shudder. We live close to a number of cheap parks, and they're cheap for a reason. One being that the local council houses undesirables in caravans, chalets etc on these parks. From experience, don't make your choice on price alone.0
