Hi

Hoping for some advice.

I was caught speeding on 4/2/23 and duly paid my £100 fine online along with submitting my driving license details.

I have just received a letter today Single justice procedure advising 'Conditional Offer - Paid but licence not received by HMCTS'. I received an email today advising the fine had been returned. I submitted my license details and have not received any letter or communication until now advising they have not received my license details. The letter said not to send in your license.

Hope anyone can advise

Thank you

Haqve you tried asking this on the Pepipoo forums? They are the place to get advice on penalties from authorities. We tend to specialise on unregulated private paring companies and their shenanigans.

Thank you give that a try also
  • Hello,
I have received exactly the same as the user above. I most definitely did send my licence details to HMCTS by post and have not received any reminders or further requests since submitting the forms and paying the fine in October 23.
I have spoken with a solicitor who has indicated that this is common at the moment as the 2 departments are not communicating with each other.
Surely poor admin cannot lead to such severe consequences. Can anybody legal advise? @martinlewis
    Any advice or experience appreciated.

@Mrsbertucci, your best bet is to read - and then act upon - the suggestion offered earlier on this thread by B789. As said, we tend to concentrate on private parking issues here.
