Hi and thanks for reading, I have a Vax rapid carpet cleaner and I have a issue when cleaning the carpets It leaves them really wet like it takes days to dry. It sucks up but it's like it's nott getting tight enough to the floor to suck all the water up. Taken all the brushes off and checked the seals all seems ok. It used to dry in about 1-2 hours not days.

I have a Henry carpet cleaner and know nothing about Vax machines. However, when I've had an issue I've made sure that I have cleaned all the parts thoroughly i.e. the head, the tubes the filters etc as they can flog up with hair/debris sucked up during cleaning.0

I have taken everything apart I can see anything obvious wrong with it. It picks water up but to get a lot more I have to push down really hard and it gets loads out.subjecttocontract said:I have a Henry carpet cleaner and know nothing about Vax machines.
