Holiday insurance - now awaiting diagnosis

Hi all
Just a quick one (I hope!).
We took out holiday insurance 6 weeks ago, then 4 weeks ago one of us had some symptoms, which when look at with some test results, has led to being put in the 2 week diagnosis do cancer pathway.
What effect, if any, will this have on our holiday plan next week?
