Chipolo One key tracker

I've got a Chipolo One bluetooth key tracker and if I leave the house without my keys the Chipolo app on my phone will bleep. The problem is that often, when I have the keys in one pocket and the phone in the other the phone will bleep and say "have you left your keys behind?" just like it would if I actually had left them and this is right pain in the proverbial!
There's a new version of the Chipolo coming out I beleive called the Point and it supposedly has much more functionality like the Apple product - I'm wondering if it'll be any better.
