Credit Card Question

The football club I support has introduced a 10 year season ticket, these are obviously quite expensive but good value if you can afford them, a stipulation is that you cannot buy them on either credit or debit cards due to financial regulations, does anyone know if this is true or are the club pulling a fast one?

it does say you can pay with a debit card?

Just not finance or credit card. I don't know if this is due to financial regulations or not, but I guess it doesn't matter - they can choose which methods of payment they offer (I think)

Sorry, yes you can pay with a debit card, for the credit cards I've seen it's something to do with merchant service providers, I'd just like to find out exactly what.

Could be the charges they have to pay for taking card payments.

They do take credit card payments for normal season tickets but this is something to do with the goods not being used till a date quite far in the future.
