I stopped leaving reviews when one person complained that I only gave them 3 stars when they had done what they said they would. I agree, they did do exactly what they said they would which, in my book merits 3 stars.

Four stars are for those that did something extra and 5 stars is for those that offer to weed my garden, wash my car and clean my house when they hand deliver the goods before I order them.

This expectation of 4 or 5 stars for simply doing what is expected is just 21st century entitlement.

I tend to write reviews, mostly on accommodation/restaurants.
I also do feedback on eBay/Vinted both for purchases and sales.

I'll look at reviews when buying something e.g. shoes, electrical/electronic items but always take them with a pinch of salt.
