Brittania parking

Hi guys had an issue with my car on the motorway (M67) and was approaching a island full of traffic so used common sense and pulled into a nearby Premier Inn to check vehicle rather then risk my life on the hard shoulder or anything else, Premier inn car park was empty and was only there 20 mins before my issue was resolved and then on my way again.
Now Brittania car parking services want 100 quid for a 20 mins stay but kindly they will accept 60.00 If I pay withing 14 days!
But seeing as I've had an mechanical emergency and the whole point of these car park guys is surely to keep the place safe right ? So I exercised my right and pulled up into a vacant space with no where else that was safe to pull up as traffic was clogged up so I couldn't pull over onto the HS as traffic was in a solid line, I had to act quickly!
I've sent an appeal to them on their appeal site ( I don't expect them to let me off ) but I can't seem to find Premier inn number or email to lodge a complaint.
Any ideas ?
Thanks

There is no way I would have pulled into any private car park. Off the motorway yes but not actually entering an ANPR 'camera scam' car park.
All UK drivers need to be aware never to use a private car park even in an emergency. They all have ANPR cameras scanning your numberplate.
Your appeal will not work. You will lose at POPLA so do not bother. Do not pay.Complaint to the landowner is PLAN A and Premier Inn's phone numbers are publicly availablePRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Contacted hotel manager and she told me to send in the invoice from BP, she said you get 11 free minutes then you will be sent an automatic charge, you have to go inside and register but this is all quite new apparently and she seemed annoyed with Brittania and sent me this reply,
'Yes all received and forwarded on. I imagine I won’t get a response until tomorrow & I will chase it with them then, if not I will give them a call.'
Will update when I receive further info.0 -
VERY GLAD she is annoyed. I would be, too. They don't need this rubbish. Complaints like yours are key to getting PCNs cancelled but even better, this gets PPCs kicked out and makes Hotels think twice.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It's just going to create a bad image to the hotel when people put it in reviews and it's the PCC that are causing it, the last thing the hotel needs is bad press I would have thought.2

Exactly! Landowners need to take responsibility for the hassle and grief caused by PPCs and consider JUST NOT HAVING ONE.
Most car parks are far better with no PPC.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
