Good morning everyone
Blue skies and no rain forecast for today (for a change!) - hoping it's right as we have a party at nursery this afternoon. The children who are leaving - little one is one of them -all get a book and a certificate to say they're now 'ready for big school.' There are 8 moving up to school and most have been with us since they were just 2 so there will be lots of hugs today and tomorrow. Then in September we'll start all over again.
I have a new bigger slide coming for little one today so I'll have that to put together later - it will keep her busy in the holidays and should last her a good few years.
Gers - your photos are lovely. The children at nursery get very excited if there's a butterfly in the garden. When she was younger my eldest DD used to be scared of them.
Snoozer - I hope Esben's hearing test is ok. I've often said to parents to have their children's hearing tested and it's come back fine and they just haven't been paying attention!
Well I'd better get on with some jobs before I go down to work. Hope everyone has a good day today x9 -
Morning chums and good wishes for birthday folk, and good health to poorlies.
The butterflies are lovely aren't theywhere we stayed at our holiday house at Bembridge there was a huge buddlia bush in the garden and it was often swarming with them and looked so pretty.
Weird weather at the moment one minute sunshine and ten minutes later overcast and dark but not in the least cold just very changeable.
I'm just off to the hospital for an ECG as I have AF, and was born with it I've survived with it all my life, which luckily so far has been pretty long, but have to have regular check ups and when I'm due for an op. as I am shortly ,then reams of test have to be completed beforehand.
Box ticking, but apparently necessary so I'll take my book and patiently await my turn like a good patient should
Cheers chums,
