Has anyone used MoreThan home insurance and logged into the members area?  It tells you your policy number and expiry date and that's it. Every other link is broken (hasn't changed since my last policy 5 years ago) or takes you to generic public pages.
Want a copy of your policy or view your details? Go to a public page, enter all your details that is already in your account (name, address, DoB, email, Policy number, etc) and wait 10 days before they send it to you.
Want to view your quotes, any other policies with MoreThan, discounts, etc? All broken, "Sorry our system is busy, please call..."
Are they a proper insurance company because the website looks like it was made by scammers? and bad ones at that

Obviously there is a chance that you've gone to a scammers site that mocked up to look like the MoreTh>n site but yes MoreTh>n is the brand name under which RSA offers it direct to consumer products.

RSA was formed mid 90s from the merger of Royal Insurance (circa 1840) and Sun Alliance (circa 1960).

I was on the legit site, it's just absolutely awful. There's a "click to go to our new site" link but that's broken too. It was the same 5 years ago with my last policy. Dunno if you can actually do anything online, there's a "make a claim" option but never had to use it thankfully. Probably doesn't work either.
Somewhat irritating as their policies are quite good but at least their phone lines are reasonable. Never been on hold for longer than 15 minutes.

Never been a customer nor have they been one of my clients so no idea about their technology capabilities but sounds like they've prioritised investing in staff over investing in tech which may suit their customer demographics.

Esure is also a legit insurer and also has a terrible website for existing customers. You have to use a different email address for each vehicle insured. Weird.
