Kids scooter - Ryanair

Has anyone had luck with finding an answer as to whether you can put a scooter, which is smaller than a pushchair into the hold as child's equipment?
I've been on the chat to them and he's basically said only the airport staff can give me an answer..

Not a recommendation but this site says you can take a scooter on Ryanair but it
must be dismantled and put in a small box or bag.

Someone on Mumsnet reported takin gone in bag,

It is included in your luggage allowance , not as a free child's item.

Ryanair allow 2 of a pushchair, car sear, booster seat or travel cot to be checked in free. I'd be very surprised if they allowed a scooter to be taken for free but you should be able to pay a fee to carry it.

You can bring 2 items of carry-on baby equipment for free.

This can include a pushchair/buggy, car seat, booster seat or travel cot. These will need to be tagged at the check-in desk or at the boarding gate. You will be able to use your pushchair/buggy until you get to the steps of the aircraft. Depending on your arrival airport you may find it at the steps of the aircraft or in the arrival's baggage hall. Check with the ground staff as you disembark the aircraft.

If you bring a car seat for an infant under 2 years of age and wish them to sit in this car seat for the duration of the flight, you will need to book an extra seat for them. You may bring a car seat on board for an infant or child if it is approved for flying and has a 5-point harness.

Other items of baby equipment (max weight 20kg), in addition to the 2 free items, can be checked in for a fee. See our Table of Fees.

A scooter will be classed as a luggage item. It is not an item required for safety on the flight/at the airport and therefore will not be included for free.

If it will fold and go into a suitcase with other items, this is likely to be the best option.
