Petrol price falling ,,, er nope Super grades margins actually have risen
OK headlines show Standard E10 petrol and normal diesel prices have fallen recently by about an average of 5-7% however price of Super unleaded 97,98 &99 octane fuel have actually risen , the differential between normal 95 unleaded and Super unleaded used to be about 15p per litre ,, but recently Many of my friends and I who have older motorcycles and vehicles that only run on Super unleaded have noticed the price differential is now averaging 20 to as much as 35p per litre ,, other friend have said higher grade diesel is also showing similar trend.
This is sheer profiteering and should be looked at by Martins team and the media

"OK headlines show Standard E10 petrol and normal diesel prices have fallen recently by about an average of 5-7% "Possibly in some areas of the country, maybe with higher population density, but most certainly not elsewhere. The Shell, Esso and Tesco locally have actually gone up in price for E10.The E5 price difference/premium surely cannot be justified.I do agree though, in my opinion too, it's blatant profiteering.

What is the percentage difference between E10 and super? It has been between 10 and 20% for as long as I can remember.0

In our area where there is competition from an Indi the price at Asda is £1.357, a nearby (under 5 miles) town with another Asda is £1.427 because there is no competition. That's quite a low variation, recently it has been as high as 15p difference.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
