Android Phone. Can I make one App Over-Ride Screen Lock?

as title says. i have phone set to energy save and lock down after 5 mins. i then have to enter my pin each time but can i make it so my Deezer Music App keeps the screen alive while using Deezer?

Why would you want it to keep the screen unlocked, that is going to hammer the battery and the music will keep playing even with the screen locked.

I can think of several reasons for example, following lyrics or reviewing information about the artist.

As far as I know, the app would need to be written to ensure the screen stays on (eg YouTube ) and any attention aware features the phone has adjusted to suit.

I don't know if there is a third party app that will keep the screen on .

Isn't there an option to not lock the screen whilst it can see your cheery face with the front camera?

My motorola has it, if I put the phone down for a couple of minutes it locks, but not if I'm holding it and gazing lovingly at the screen.
