CP Plus Penalty @ Moto

Hi all,
I received a penalty for exceeding the maximum 2hr stay by around 15 minutes. Since then I have received dozens of letters asking for money, I have ignored them, even the debt collectors letters however I have now received a county court claim for and subsequent CCJ.
I have read the newbies thread and a few users threads, but find it a rabbit warren of information.
What is the advice for my situation?

What's the Date of Issue of the Court Claim?
I don't find the NEWBIES thread complicated but then again, I wrote it!
Why not just search the forum and copy & adapt another CP Plus defence from this year?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Please clarify that statement.Innocent12345 said:...I have now received a county court claim for and subsequent CCJ.
OK, you have received a County Court Claim Form, but 'and subsequent CCJ' is a bit worrying.
You haven't received a County Court Judgment yet... or have you?1 -
" received a penalty for exceeding the maximum 2hr stay ...."
You will not see this mentioned anywhere in their correspondence - parking charge?1 -
Hi guys,
The date on the claim form is 02/06/23.
I received a document titled: Judgment for Claimant (in default)KeithP said:

With a Claim Issue Date of 2nd June, you had until Wednesday 21st June to either file an Acknowledgment of Service or a Defence.Innocent12345 said:The date on the claim form is 02/06/23.

As you did nothing, the Claimant sought and gained a Default Judgment against you.
Sorry, but as you ignored the County Court Claim, I can see no way out other than you paying the Claimant what the Court has ordered you to pay. If you do that within the timescale specified there will be no lasting County Court Judgment on file.
Guidance on How to Pay can be found on the back of your County Court Claim Form.

Thanks for the info Keith,
If you dont pay and get a CCJ, d you still have to pay?0 -
You already have a CCJ - a County Court Judgment - against you.Innocent12345 said:Thanks for the info Keith,

Failing to pay the amount specified within the timescale allowed - often just fourteen days - will have your credit file trashed for the next six years making it very difficult if not impossible to get credit - think mobile phone contract, mortgage, etc.
This is serious stuff.1 -
You don't have to pay, but if you decide not to pay you could have goods seized by court appointed bailiffs.Innocent12345 said:Thanks for the info Keith,

ThanksSadly I agree. You are coming here a month too late with this.
Such a shame as last month you could have defended and never paid a penny.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
