The old cheap wedding favours thread became inactive over a decade ago, but before that it was a treasure trove of wedding favour inspo.

I'll kick off by mentioning my cousin's wedding earlier this year. A small, magnetic bookmark was left on the tables for each guest. It was a really simple idea but one that was really appreciated - my bookmark is in constant use.

When my daughter and son-in-law got married they cut up fallen branches about 3 inches thick into rounds, stencilled them with peoples names, varnished them and gave them as coasters. Everyone loved them and they are still used - cost no more than £5 and a few hours of time to do 60
